Our Philosophy

Aural Rehabilitation is the process of reversing damage as result of

auditory deprivation.

Or in simple terms, retraining the brain’s ability to process sound effectively. Imagine if someone was to speak to you in a foreign language that you do not understand… Even with perfect hearing, the brain has no way of processing the sounds into an intelligible format. So it’s not to say that those with hearing loss are forgetting the English language, but rather auditory deprivation causes the brain to lose its ability to process sounds correctly.

Without auditory retraining, only 4 out of 10 hearing aid users are happy with their results!

This is where Accurate Hearing Center’s Aural Rehabilitation bridges the gap. We employ special rehabilitative strategies, including listening exercises and other cognitive regenerative technologies for patients that experience acute difficulty understanding speech in areas such as; background noise, group activities, restaurants, professional work-life, using the telephone and television. Every patient experiences hearing restoration differently, and each patient’s treatment plan is personalized for their lifestyle. This is why the mainstream hearing aid industry sees a 38% satisfaction rate, while we here at Accurate show a 90% satisfaction rate.

There are many places to buy hearing aids, but there are very few places to receive true healthcare for your hearing.
